Why can't I see crosshair in Fortnite Fullscreen?
If you're having trouble seeing your Crosshair X overlay when playing Fortnite in fullscreen mode, follow this step-by-step troubleshooting guide to resolve the issue.
Method 1: Use Game Bar Mode
The first and simplest solution is to use Crosshair X's Game Bar Mode:
Method 2: Check Fortnite Executable Compatibility Settings
If the Game Bar Mode doesn't resolve the issue, check Fortnite's executable compatibility settings:
C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Fortnite\FortniteGame\Binaries\Win64
Note: If you encounter an error, it's likely because either:
- You copied and pasted the directory path incorrectly
- Fortnite is installed on a different drive than your C: drive
If Fortnite is installed on a different drive, navigate to the same subfolder on your respective drive where Fortnite is installed.
- FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe
- FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping_EAC_EOS.exe
- FortniteLauncher.exe
Method 3: Disable Windows Fullscreen Optimizations
If the crosshair still isn't visible after trying the previous methods, try disabling Windows fullscreen optimizations:
