Crosshair X Black Box / Screen / Rectangle error
Crosshair X launches with a big black box / screen / rectangle
This occurs because your GPU is incompatible with the Windowed Fullscreen mode of Crosshair X.
How to fix the black box issue

To remove the black box temporarily, launch Crosshair X in safe mode (Steam only).

Go into the options page of Crosshair X and set Hardware Acceleration to off.

(Optional for Best Performance) Select Game Bar Mode, found in the Display Modes page in Crosshair X.
Other general suggestions
Try these if the solutions above don't resolve your issue:
- Make sure Windows 10/11 are completely up to date including the Microsoft Store and Game Bar app
- Uninstall and Reinstall Crosshair X or the Crosshair X Extension
- Verify Steam Integrity of Game Files
- Temporarily disable your antivirus as it may be interfering.
